We are sad to announce the sudden passing of Emily Myrka Delisle of Fredericton, NB, which occurred on March 16, 2025. Born on June 23, 2015 in Kentville, NS, she was the daughter of Melissa Seguin and Nick Delisle. Emily loved everything outdoors, including swimming, playing street hockey and soccer, and 4 wheeling. She enjoyed gymnastics, jiu-jitsu, playing the piano, and loved school. Emily had an amazing sense of humour and could make anyone smile. She had a love for animals and planned to one day work and take care of them for a living.
Emily is survived by her loving parents, Melissa and Nick; sister, Isabel Delisle; step-siblings, Danielle Dougherty, Delaney Black, and Gabriel Black; step-mother, Erin Pike; aunt and uncle, Myrka & Anthony Weir and their children, Olivia and Owen; grandparents, Luc Seguin and Gisele Beriault, and Marco Delisle and Lyne Bourassa; step-grandparents, Ken & Jocelyn Pike.
A visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton on Saturday, March 22, 2025 from 12 - 2 PM. A funeral service will take place following the visitation at 2 PM. A graveside service will take place in St. Anthony’s Cemetery, Fredericton in the spring. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the SPCA.
