It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Viola Marie Larlee of Fredericton, NB on March 3, 2025.

Viola was born on June 18, 1947, in Lorne, NB and was the daughter of the late Mary (Carrier) Godin and the late Michael Joseph Godin. Viola is survived by her husband Eugene of 61 years; children, Shelley Bonas (John) of Ontario, Christopher Larlee (Rebecca) of Manitoba, and Wayne Larlee also 8 grand and 14 great grandchildren. Special sister-in-law of Daniel and Annette Larlee, and Doug Larlee as well as many nieces and nephews.

Viola was predeceased by her son Tony (Anthony) Larlee 2020 (Misty), and Granddaughter Patrisha Warren 2016.

Viola was very much all about her family and anyone who knew her knew that she loved all of them with everything she had. She had a smile that would light up the room and a laugh that was so infectious.  She had the most beautiful soul and could make friends with anybody that came across her path. With her passion of baking and knitting, she loved to put smiles on the faces of everyone’s she gifted her stuff too. While living in Centerville, NB she loved her involvement with the St Leo’s congregation and was always keen to tell everyone about the Sunday service. Viola will be forever loved and missed by her friends and family.
