Obituary of Victor Arden Miner

With immense sorrow softened by peace, we announce the passing of Victor Miner in his 74th year on Feb 24, 2025 after a short battle with a courageous journey home.  Our hearts are sad to lose you, but relieved you are at peace.  Your kind heart, quick comebacks, signature giggle and razor sharp memory will never be forgotten.

 

Victor is now re-united with his beloved wife Gloria (2016).  Pre-deceased by his parents Leo and Birdie (Price) Miner, his second Mom Christy Stewart (Harold), and his siblings Dennis Miner, Clarence Miner, Marshall Miner, Otto Miner, and Arthur Price.

 

Survived by his siblings Amanda Johnston, Nilah Comeau (Simon), Merna Munn (Charles) and many nieces and nephews.

 

Victor leaves behind his step-daughters Joanne and Linda (Gary), his step-grandchildren Amanda (Tom) and Joseph (Jenna), his precious step-great-grandchildren Jacob, Joshua and Oaklen.  Will be dearly missed and remembered by his loving special friend Sheila, her son Nick, daughter-in-law Elizabeth, daughter Shannon, son-in-law Henry and grandson Theoren.

 

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of York funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton. Honouring Victor’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no service. In Victor’s memory, please do something kind for another person who has less than you or needs love.

 

We cannot sufficiently thank Hospice House in Fredericton for the incredible kindness shown to Victor and our families over the past few weeks.  It is truly an incredible group of people.  Dr. Wilson, there are no words for your professionalism and compassion.
