Obituary of Charles Owen Purdy

The passing of Charles Owen Purdy of Fredericton, NB, occurred on Thursday, February 20, 2025 at Hospice House in Fredericton.  Born on September 13, 1956 in Caverhill, NB, he was the son of the late Lloyd Madeline (Ingraham) Purdy. Charles worked for Crystal Clean Maintenance and previously at the university in Fredericton.

Charles is survived by his sister, Dianne Storey (Michael Veno); nieces, Tanya and Tracy; nephew, Keith; great-nephews, Logan, Austin, Ethan and Matthew; great-niece, Autumn; and numerous cousins and extended family. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Kenneth.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton. A Graveside Service will be held at a later date.
