Obituary of Angela Joy McLellan

Please share a memory of Angela to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

The passing of Angela “Angie” Joy McLellan of Penniac, NB, wife of John McLellan, occurred on February 15, 2025 at the Moncton Hospital.  Born on May 13, 1969 in Fredericton, NB, she was the daughter of John Saunders and the late Deborah (Marshall) Saunders.

John was the love of Angie’s life since high school, they had a beautiful family together. Anyone that new Angie knew how much love she had for John, her children, and grandchildren. She enjoyed spending time camping during the summer months or out in the front yard picking flowers from the lilac bush. After the loss of her mother, she started visiting her brother out west every year, which she really looked forward too. Her last visit out west she brought a very close friend, Julie. The stories told after she arrived home will never be forgotten.

John is going to miss their every Saturday morning market trips. We can't forget her love for animals, especially her boy Harley. Angie couldn't wait for holidays, especially Christmas, as her mother did as well.

It's not going to be easy without you Angie, I love you with every piece of my heart. Love your husband.

In addition to her father, Angie is survived by her children, David McLellan (Samantha) and Cortney Campbell (Rodney); grandchildren, Zoey, Shyla, Hunter, Keegan, Carter, Kaycee and Sophie; brother, Jeff Saunders (Cheyan); grandmother, Irene Saunders and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Besides her mother, Angie was predeceased by her grandparents, James Saunders and Charles and Kathleen Marshall.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Interment will take place in the Penniac United Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.  Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
