Gerald Donald Arbeau
Gerald Donald Arbeau of Hillsborough, NB, passed suddenly on Saturday, January 25, 2025. Born on August 2, 1956 in Upper Blackville, NB, he was a son of the late Rev. Donald and Eleanor (Sullivan) Arbeau.
Gerald will be deeply missed by his son, Jeremy Arbeau (spouse Ann Arbeau) of Keswick Ridge, NB and their daughter, Elna Arbeau and son Jeremy Arbeau (Junior), daughter, Kimberley Goodwin (spouse Josh Goodwin) of Wellington, PE and their two sons, Jax and Jed Goodwin and significant other Susan Tingley of Ottawa, ON. He's survived by siblings, Mark (Mavis), Marg (Ron) Miller, Nilah (Randy) McLean, Royce (Sharron), Gaius (Rose Anne), Rev. Quincy (Cathy), Nathan (Annette); and Rev. Donald R. (Joanne); and many nieces and nephews.
For over 40 years he operated heavy equipment from coast to coast. He had a passion for racing, snowmobiling and being behind the wheel of anything. He loved children, especially his 4 grandkids. He left an impression on every person he met. He could always be found at his favorite coffee shop, and if you met him you'd never forget him. Copy.
Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton on Thursday, January 30, 2025 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The Funeral Service will take place at Capital Community Church, 71 Downing Street, Fredericton, NB on Friday, January 31, 2025 at 1pm with Rev. Matthew Woodward officiating. A reception will follow the service. Interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Diabetes Canada or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
