Obituary of Tiffany Rachel Scott

It is with deep sorrow that the family of Tiffany Rachel Scott, of Durham Bridge, New Brunswick, announces her passing which occurred on January 23, 2025. Born on March 2, 1977, in Woodstock, New Brunswick she was the daughter of Lynn McArty – Brown and the late Otis Foster.

Tiffany worked many jobs over her life but her favorite of them all was her position as a research assistant at the Experimental farm. Tiffany worked as a waitress and a cashier. She worked as a seismic line worker exploring for oil in B.C., Alberta and Saskatchewan.

Tiffany was tough as nails and fearless. She was a loyal friend and loved her three children with all her heart.

Tiffany had many friends everywhere she went because of her humour and warmth.

She was a woman of many talents. She was a gifted illustrator and painter. She loved to restore and customize furniture. She loved to make crafts, to build and to paint.

Tiffany loved animals and always spoke of her childhood pets with great fondness. Her horse jip, and the time it got tangled in the bushes and bit her all up as she tried to free it. Her pet pig, her guinea hen. She cherished all her memories with Otis and the things he taught her about animals.

Tiffany was a great lover of adventure. She travelled all across the country. She hitch-hiked thousands of miles across the west from Calgary all the way to Alaska and back.

Tiffany is survived by her daughter Dakota Leah Foster, sons Ethan Otis Foster and Soren Crane Scott; grandchildren Bentley and Alora; brothers Ben Foster and Tony Foster; and her sister Nichole Kerr.

Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton on Monday, January 27, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A funeral will take place following the service at 2:00 pm with Pastor Terry Messer officiating. Interment will take place in Douglas Rural Cemetery, Fredericton at a later date.
