Thank you for allowing us to be a part of Richard's life. Many times, he helped me at Lawton's Drug Store. He was such a soft and caring soul. One day, I was there with my father, and I was carrying all the packages. Richard called my father "Young Fella." My dad laughed; Richard said, "You shouldn't make that young lady carry everything on her own. I have held that close to my heart. Thank you again. We are so sorry to hear of his passing.

Dick was such a great guy. He was part of our staff at Lawtons no question. Although unpaid. We loved him and the smiles he brought to so many. Loved the candy treats he always gave out. He knew I preferred the mint ones over the werthers and made sure
he had some in his other pocket. Rest easy.

Dick was the long-term partner of my aunt Sharon Porter. He and Sharon would often come to visit my parents, Myrtle and Ernie Stickney. A very kind, person with a twinkle in his eye and a joke to tell. My sympathy to the family.

4 years now we have been having coffee together threw the week. You knew what time I had my break , to have my seat ready beside you . You would tell our coffee groups storeys, about your child hood , all your jobs and how you loved to line dance .
You always had jokes to tell . Everyone at McDonalds knew you and knew you would be there from 7-10 am . One of our fun things was to try to teach you to use an iPhone . You told us we were all crazy to have one , untill we showed you snap chat , you would laugh and giggle at the things we would send .
He was there to talk to about anything in life , you are gonna be missed so much .

Dick was certainly one of a kind. He will be missed by many of his friends that he has helped through the years. Many did not even know his name, only the old fellow that took their shopping cart back or the guy that helped carry their parcels to their car. Too bad we don't have more Richards like him.
