I worked with Joan at Red Cross over 30 years ago. She always had a smile and a great laugh. I sad to hear she is now gone from this earth but glad to hear she is free to laugh a whole lot more.

We are thinking of you all today as you say good bye to sweet Joan. When we were newly married and living in Fredericton we have wonderful memories of Joan & Richard taking care of us with visits, meals, etc. We will cherish these memories and Joan’s wonderful laugh.

Hi. I’m sorry to have missed Joan’s funeral. I’m an OT and that is how I met her. What a wonderful lady she was. Beyond helpful and so kind. She helped so many people. I chatted with her off and on when I saw her since I left ExtraMural and always appreciated catching up. I am so sorry for your loss . What a person to have had in your life!

Growing up getting to see Joan and Richard was always a big deal whether in Liverpool or Fredericton. I have fond memories of Joan throwing me grounders in the backyard in Liverpool, of her playing tennis with me when I was little older. I remember how she looked after the younger kids she was caring for when I visited one summer. You could see the care and interest she had for those kids.
I remember her great pies, rhubarb punch, and butterscotch squares.
Later, she took an interest in me and made suggestions about careers as I was entering university. When I found myself at UNB she and Richard made me feel at in Fredericton as though I always had a place to go.
I will carry these and many other memories with me.

With sadness and sweet remembrance, I read the obituary of Joan Elizabeth Fralic. My parents Mary & Randy Manning were friends of Bessie and Lloyd Frellick. When I was a girl I well remembered the several trips we made to New Brunswick for visits, when my brother, Terry Manning, played with John, Joan's brother. I am not surprised at how well Joan did, as she was a delightful girl, always sweet and polite and full of life. She was truly an endearing young women.

We were often with Joan & her parents when I was growing up. She was always patient and kind to me, the pesky little sister. She had such a gentle, loving heart.
Sending light & love to her family & friends

One really special memory was our trip with our children to the White House Mountains. Ron and Richard had gone on a fishing trip and we decided to do something special with the kids. We were to go on a Tuesday morning but after the men left, we decided we wanted to leave right then. No reservations or plan of how far we would get. The no reservation part became an issue as everything was booked along our route. Everyone was so good, we laughed and continued to drive till finally finding a motel at 4:30 am. All laughter. No complaints, and I have never forgotten the fun we had.❤️

My deepest sympathy to your whole family. Joan was a very special friend since I was old enough to play. Our families were best friends. And through all those years, she had an amazing zest for life, and loved being a friend, a wife and a mom! Always happy and making others find joy. Growing up we were part of a group but also great friends. Later our families were friends, and those are memories we will all cherish forever. A love of life, a ready smile and laugh, and a friend who enjoyed just being with others. Joan also knew she was truly loved. I hope you will find peace as you move thru the difficult days of her passing. Deepest sympathy from Karen and Kevin and their families as well. Sending you so much love and hugs.❤️❤️❤️.

We always had nice chats in the backyard and I'll never forget how excited she was when found out we were expecting our daughter all those years ago. Take care and find peace.

I remember one time growing up. Greg, Mike, Susan and I were outside having a water fight and one of us thought that it would be great to bring out the shampoo. When we were done and dried off we went inside. My hair was full of tangles. Aunt Joanie had sat me down and started working through the tangles with me crying in pain. She would give me hugs while going through the mess.
