The passing of Darrell Cedric Lyons of Fredericton, NB, husband of Alice (Jenkins) Lyons, occurred on February 27, 2023 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on June 25, 1942 in McNamee, NB, he was the son of the late Walter T. and Florence (O'Donnell) Lyons. Darrell did renovation work. He enjoyed playing guitar and piano.
Darrell is survived by sister Lois Doiron of Ontario; chosen brothers, Donald Lyons and Stephen A. Lyons; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his siblings, Gertrude Lyons, Murray Lyons, Greta Price, Mary Lyons, Mabel Amos, Ivey O'Donnell, Carol Lyons, Ben Lyons and Edith Price.
A Memorial Service will take place at York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Saturday, March 18, 2023 at 2 pm.
